Our volunteering or internship program is very flexible.
The main goal of the program is to achieve a fully exchange
of cultures to improve understanding among people while protecting
nature.
Our new volunteering program gives you the possibility
of helping in our forest project. We are reforesting an area
of 20 hectars with native trees and medicinal plants and plan
to expand this activity to closed by areas. You can choose
your activities from collecting plants in the jungle, building
a plant nursery and planting the collected trees, medicinal
herbs and flowers, etc. You will make all the work in coordination
with local kichwa communities, who have the knowledge about
plants and their uses.
Our internship program is more directed to participate
on the tourism activities such as guiding, gardening and working
in an Ecuadorian small sized company with family atmosphere.
Your will learn how to run a tourism business, lodge, marketing
tourism products, etc.
In any program you will be in constant contact with
the communities and your work includes teaching them in your
mother tongue language as well as introducing them your country’s
customs, etc. This is the best way to share with local people
and really get to undertstand other cultures and customs.
If you wish you can make a combination on activities
(volunteering and internship).
As you can see we are very flexible and just want to give
you the opportunity of helping in a way that you can also
benefit from it while helping us protecting the nature and
culture of this beautiful region.
For both volunteering or intership we have following
structure:
- You contact us and tell us your special fields of interest.
- We give you more details on our programs and activities.
- We plan together your field of work and assign you a coordinator.
- You come and enjoy your stay with us.
