Huasquila Amazon Lodge bungalows are built by native people from close by communities with natural materials in typical Kichwa style. We have combined the Kichwa building style with modern facilities to offer you a beautiful and superior class cabin. Each bungalow has its own bathroom and wide interior space. Enjoy the beautiful sounds of the Amazon from your private balcony in your hammock overlooking the jungle, and discover the fascinating world of the sacred valley of Cotundo, home of Shamans, with its ancient knowledge and fascinating discoveries….

The delicious taste of our local dishes will turn every meal into a special event (you will get to know some dishes and ingredients you have never seen before!). We also offer standard national and international dishes for the guests who prefer traditional dishes. Vegetarians do not have to worry as we prepare a wide variety of vegetarian food.
The ingredients we use are mainly produced within the Sumaco Biosphere Reserve by small scale farmers to satisfy the best standards and support the sustainable development of the Amazon Region. We choose our food suppliers very carefully to always get the very best and freshest products to prepare outstanding meals.
We also have bar service for you to enjoy cocktails and all the standard drinks with Huasquila´s special touch.
