The Lodge

Located at 2750 feet above sea level, Huasquila’s climate is surprisingly temperate. During the day it gets really hot, but it gets cooler in the afternoon. You can enjoy our beautiful hikes and waterfalls with sun during the day and finish it with a hot cup of Amazon cocoa in the afternoon. At night it gets cooler, so sleeping becomes no problem with a light and warm comfortable blanket, something other people in the rest of the Amazon will miss, since it is usually very hot and humid at night….

Bungalows

Huasquila Amazon Lodge bungalows are built by native people from close by communities with natural materials in typical Kichwa style. Each bungalow has its own bathroom with hot water and wide interior space. Three of our bungalows are designed to host people with mobility impairments (wheelchair users, slow walkers and the mature), making us an accessible destination for all.

 

Restaurant

Huasquila’s terrace restaurant is built in such a way that nature is always within reach. It has a beautiful view of the protected Antisana Reserve and offers you the best local, national and international dishes. We serve vegetarian, vegan or any food requirement you may have.
